Fact: 1 out of 5 Cable subscribers would switch if they were aware of
something to switch to.
Fact: A customer must qualify for the DHA promotion for DISH
Fact: To qualify for DHA, a customer must be a first-time subscriber, pay a $49
activation fee, give their Credit Card # and Social Security Number for a credit
check.
Fact: DISH Network offers a first-time subscriber the option of receiving up to
$1100 worth of equipment installed at no charge.
Fact: If the Customer qualifies, they are eligible for up to 4 tuners including a
dual tuner DVR.
Fact: The customer is concerned with giving up their Credit Card Information
and Social Security Number because of the fear of identity theft.
Fact: We want the customer to agree to stay activated for at least 18 months.
PRESENTATION
We need to ask the prospect 3 questions
Salesperson: 1. How do you receive your television programming today?
Prospect : I am on cable.
Salesperson: 2. Are you happy with the service and pricing?
Prospect : Heck no, they just raised my rates again.
Salesperson: 3. If I could show you how to “Watch and Record More of Your
Favorite Channels for Less Money than you are paying today” is this something
you would want to do?
Prospect : More for Less, sure I would. How can you do that?
Presentation to Prospect:
Salesperson: It’s DISH NETWORK. If you qualify, you can get up to $1100 in
equipment absolutely FREE! And if you qualify, our company, for a Limited
Time, will install the $1300 worth of equipment, for FREE!
Prospect: How do I qualify?
Salesperson: You must be a first time subscriber, are you?
Prospect: Yes, I have never had DISH before.
Salesperson: Great, then we just need a $49 Activation Fee which will be
credited back on your first month’s bill. I will also need your Social Security
number and the number of a valid Credit Card.
Prospect: Wait a minute, I thought you said it was free. I don’t give my Credit
Card or Social Security Card to anyone.
Salesperson: I think you would agree that before DISH Network gives away
$1300 worth of equipment they would want to make sure, you are who you say
you are, and that you are credit worthy of such an offer, that only makes sense
doesn’t it?
Prospect: Yes, that makes sense.
Salesperson: Great, would that be a Master Card or a Visa?
•Take the number and expiration date of the card and get the SS#.
Salesperson: WAIT, there is one more thing!!!
Prospect: What NOW?
Salesperson: You must agree to get America’s lowest priced all-digital
programming for at least 18 months, do you??
Prospect: I have to agree to save money for 18 months of course I will.
•After getting the claim approved we then begin figuring out what
programming package and receiver configuration the customer will need
based on a few questions.
Salesperson: Great, you not only qualified for Option 1 but you also qualified for
Option 2.
Prospect: What is the difference between Option 1 and Option 2?
Salesperson: Option 1 is for 1 or 2 TV’s and Option 2 is for 3 - 4 TV’s all with
the capability of viewing individual channels & on both options 2 TV’s will be
able to pause, replay & record live TV! Which Option would work best for your
family?
Prospect: Well, I have X TV’s.
Salesperson: Great! Our most popular DISH Network package offers over 200
channels, including locals, and our 2 room DVR system for only $49.99 ($54.99
if Option 2) per month with a price guarantee through January 2009. DISH also
offers a package of over 250 channels including DVR and locals for only $59.99
($64.99 if Option 2) per month. DISH also offers a step down package of fewer
channels for $40.97 ($45.97 if Option 2) per month which includes around 100

Prospect: I think we need package ……..
Salesperson: I am sure your family will enjoy that package, and you also have

the installer will give you a form to fill out and you will just need to make a copy
of your first bill and follow the rebate instructions. You also will get your choice
of HBO, Cinemax, Showtime or Starz free for 3 months. Which one of these

leave you the rebate form that you will need to send in so you will save an
additional $100 after the $10 rebate kicks in and you also will receive the free
Premium channel for 3 months. If you choose to not continue with the premium
channel please make sure you call Dish and let them know and they will
discontinue it on your account at the end of 3 months. We will schedule your
install for ???? and you and your family will soon be watching and recording
your favorite channels for less money than what you are now paying for cable.
