Programming Your DISH Remote for your TV:YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW YOUR TV CODE FOR YOUR REMOTE, THIS IS A INSTALLERS WAY OF PROGRAMMING A DISH NETWORK REMOTE TO WORK WITH ANY TV, UNLESS THE TV IS A COMBO UNIT MEANING TV VCR/DVD COMBO.IT SHOULD WORK JUST FINE .
HOLD DOWN ON Tv BUTTON ON YOUR DISH NETWORK REMOTE UNTILL ALL THE LIGHTS AT THE TOP ARE FLASHING, OK NOW PRESS THE TV POWER BUTTON (THE WHITE TV BUTTON SHOULD STAY LIT BRITE RED NOW)
NOTE: "THE SMALL RED POWER BUTTON ON THE DISH REMOTE IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO USE FOR YOUR TV SET". --- NOT THE BIG RED BUTTON THATS FOR YOUR DVR OR SATELLITE TUNER ----
MAKE SURE THE TV YOU WANT TO PROGRAM THIS REMOTE TO IS IN THE OFF POSITION (TURN TV OFF)
NOTE: YOU CAN START THE PROGRAMMING PROCESS IN THE "ON" POSSITION JUST WATCH FOR THE TV TO TURN OFF,
OK GREAT, NOW THE UP AND DOWN CHANNEL BUTTONS ARE YOUR KEY BUTTONS.
NOW POINT THE REMOTE AT THE TV YOU WANT TO PROGRAM, YOU CAN START BY PRESSING THE CHANNEL UP BUTTON, YOU SHOULD NOTICE THE TV LIGHT ON THE REMOTE WILL FLASH EVERYTIME YOU PRESS THE CHANNEL UP KEY INTILL THE TV TURNS ON.
AS SOON AS THE TV TURNS "ON" PRESS THE POUND KEY.
NOTE: IF YOU HAPPEN TO GO 1 OR 2 CLICKS TO FARE JUST REPEAT THE PROCESS, BUT THIS TIME START SEACHING BY USING THE DOWN CHANNEL BUTTON NOT THE UP CHANNEL BUTTON. AS SOON AS YOUR TV SET TURNS ON YOUR REMOTE IS NOW PROGRAMED TO YOUR TV SET.
SO NOW WE NEED TO STORE THAT INFORMATION IN THE REMOTE. YOU DO THIS BY PRESSING THE POUND BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE. LOOK AT YOUR TV LIGHT AS YOU PRESS THE POUND KEY IT SHOULD BLINK 3 TIMES. THAT JUST MEANS IT IS STORING YOUR NEW SETTINGS. THERE YOUR DONE PRESS THE TV BUTTON AND TEST IT OUT,

Programming Your Dish Network Remote to your new TV How to Video
Aligning Your Dish :There's allot to be said here, First ask yourself a few questions??? Was there just a storm? Was it just installed? is it on a pole? if so is it cemented in? I could go on for ever on this one but i wont so the easiest way to align you dish is first know what Dish you have is it a 121? 105 Super dish? or Dish 500 or 1000? First thing check your skew and (polarity on your lnb if you are using a 121 or 105 Super Dish). Ok Polarity right what the hell is that right? Well if you have a triple lnb You know Super dish 1 of the three lnbf's (eye's as some call them), Will twist. To be continued.........
Trouble Shooting your Picture:
No Signal at all --- TROUBLESHOOTING 101 : Check your ground block first, then all your ends and also if there are any barrels in the line replace them with 2ghz blue RG-6 barrel connectors. Make sure you look at the back of the receiver on some models like 301's they can become lose inside the back of the receiver--- to be continued.............
Why does my Channels change on all my tv sets when i change the channel in one room ???
